For the past few months, Joy Street Design has been working on a project to assist Airbnb owners provide a more luxurious experience to their guests. As you know, I consider myself a luxury travel aficionado and love to stay in Airbnbs for the convenience and space. However, there are times that the luxury price tag of the Airbnb does not match the amenities provided by the host. So in an effort to assist the owners in accessing quality luxury hotel-like bedding, we were working behind the scenes and securing exclusive relationships with bedding and bath providers to launch a new project last month. After extensive research, we found the perfect sheets to make a bed to remember and the softest towels that left you feeling like you could stay wrapped up in them all day. Of course the world is upside down and the need for this service for most Airbnbs is very limited BUT we are still sitting on a ton of inventory that was ready for the launch.
When the world gets turned upside down, the only thing you can do is pivot and reimagine a different path, right? With Airbnb's in limbo, how can we stay true to our brand and combine design services that embody joyful, comfortable and colorful living with a bedding package we know you will love and enjoy for years? Today, we're introducing a new limited service called Joyful Homes that will elevate your bedroom and bathroom with a designer refresh that will give you a comfortable and luxurious place to sleep.
In the Designer Bedding Refresh, we start with clean white Italian-tailored organic cotton bedding and layer in the right mix of color and pattern to elevate your current bedroom style. We have selected 300 thread count OEKO-TEX sateen bedding that is 100% Supima cotton, a premium fiber grown exclusively in the USA, but woven and tailored in Italy to attain utmost quality and softness. Joy Street Design then works with the customer to identify the current color schemes in the room and suggests a custom selection of pillows and throws to elevate the bed.
We are also offering a similar service that includes bath towels as well. The bath towels feature a plush pile, woven with 100% American and Turkish Aegean cotton.
We know this isn't a full scale design service, but we promise to provide you with the same high quality elements we always use in the many beautiful Joy Street projects we have worked on over the years.
